The Albertans found each other in New York City in 2007. Playing under the name "Sex with an Angel," they launched an 8-piece theatrical music collective led by Joel Bravo (Bravo Silva). Within 6 months, the band found its way into the CMJ music festival and were signed by Ernest Jenning. Because two of the founding members hailed from Alberta, Canada, the band decided to change their name and move northwest in order to begin their touring career.
Now based out of Vancouver, The Albertans are touring the west coast in a propane fueld bus and gearing up to record their first full-length.
